In the 1920's and 1930's London Transport Underground Stations were built in Art Deco style. The Central Line had reached North Acton in the 1920's (North Acton and West Acton tube stations were opened on the 5th November 1923 and the Ealing Broadway station on the Southern Branch of the Central Line was opened on the 3rd August 1920). The Northern Branch of the Central Line (leading to West Ruislip) was completed in 1948, the Perivale and Greenford stations were opened on the 30th June 1947. West Ruislip station was opened on the 21st November 1948 Perivale will be undergoing a station refurbishment. This is due to be completed in 2008. Home | | History | Attractions | Books | Links |
